The CMS PTA is for all caregivers: moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles or anyone who loves our students and wants to get involved. Even parents that work can be involved in PTA! Do you have experience in desktop publishing? You would be perfect to assist us with the our record keeping and event notifications. Does it seem like you know everyone in the community? We would love to have your help in encouraging community involvement in our school. The goal of the CMS PTA is to encourage parent, teacher and community involvement in the education, health and welfare of our students. We are about parents and caregivers who have an interest in the success of our children's educational, emotional and social experiences while at CMS. We are currently seeking individuals to fill our Board in the Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer roles. It is only six meetings per year with one fund-raising event. You could even job-share if you wanted and training is available. It is only with your support and involvement that we can accomplish these goals and the PTA can continue to support CMS.

The CMS PTA meets approximately six times a year to organize a Spring Food Drive, a Bingo and Silent Auction Night, and Staff Appreciation Breakfast/Luncheon. We support various school events as well. (Please see the calendar for dates)
The PTA also provides funding for classroom and educational needs as requested by the staff. For more information, please e-mail, or come to the next meeting.
